The 20th-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks fell to the Memphis Tigers 84-79 in the Battle for Atlantis semifinals Thursday night. Khalif Battle scored 21 points, but the Memphis Tigers' David Jones scored a career-high 36 points.
The Razorbacks were plagued by turnovers throughout the game, turning the ball over 18 times. They also struggled to defend Jones, who was 10-of-14 from the field and 4-of-8 from 3-point range.
Arkansas had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but Bartel was whistled for a foul. The call was reviewable, but ultimately upheld.
The Razorbacks will face No. 14 North Carolina in Friday's Battle of Atlantis quarterfinal game.
