LaVar Ball, father of NBA players Lonzo Ball and LaMelo Ball, has boldly declared that no other brothers will ever go in the top three of the NBA draft again.

In an interview with Vlad TV, LaVar said that this will "never happen again" because there will never be another pair of brothers as talented and prepared as his sons. He also pointed out that the NBA draft is becoming more and more competitive, and it's becoming more and more difficult for brothers to get into the top three picks.

While LaVar's statement may seem odd, it's worth noting that he has a track record of success in his sons' basketball careers. Lonzo was drafted second overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2017 and LaMelo was drafted third overall by the Charlotte Hornets in 2020.

However, there are a couple pairs of brothers who could challenge LaVar in the future. Boozer twin brothers Cameron and Kayden are both highly touted rookies in the 2026 NBA Draft. Cameron is projected to be a first round pick while Kaden is expected to be a lottery pick. If Kaden can improve his game, he could be drafted in the top three.

Ultimately, only time will tell if LaVar is right. However, it's clear that the NBA draft is only going to get better, and it's going to be harder and harder for any player to go in the top three, let alone a pair of brothers.
